To me, Art is about beauty and a part of being an artist is showing others not only the obviously beautiful things in life but also showing beauty in unexpected places or in the mundane where we may not normally notice it.
There is an incredible richness of light, colour, movement and life which can easily just pass us by.
When I paint, I try and capture the light, colours, movement and the spirit of what I am experiencing when out in nature.
I’m not a high-brow exclusive artist, I’m just this person who paints for the love of it.
